Transformation Work Group
The Mental Health Transformation Project grant called for executive oversight by a Transformation Work Group (TWG). In Washington State, the TWG consists of 33 member organizations and additional alternates that represent the major state departments and sub-agencies responsible for delivering mental health and related support services to publicly eligible individuals. Additionally, the governor's office and local government, including Regional Support Networks and provider organizations are represented on the TWG. Finally, consumers and consumer organizations are represented.
The TWG is responsible for oversight of the of the Project's process to collect input, approved outcomes and guide the work of the Task Groups. The Comprehensive Mental Health Plan will be approved and forwarded by the TWG to Governor Christine Gregoire.
